The department of pharmacy has consisted of three divisions namely Western Medicine Pharmacy, Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacy, and Clinical Pharmacy, responsible for the different pharmacy practice services and the management of Western and Traditional Chinese medicine. In our department, 214 pharmacists are playing the pivotal role to take care of patients with pharmaceutical profession and compassion. Besides, we actively participate in all areas of care and cooperate with other medical teams to provide consulting services in the holistic medical fields.

 

 

We comply with the health policies of the government and have established three centers, including the Regional Reporting Center of Adverse Drug Reaction, Education Resource Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine and Education Resource Center of Anti-Drug.

Besides, we assist the National Health Insurance Administration Ministry of Health and Welfare to smoothly operate "Drug Supply Information Platform" and “Children's Difficulties in Obtaining Clinically Necessary Drugs and Medical Materials Dispatching Center", and the National Health Administration to set up the "Rare Disease Special Nutritional Food and Emergency Medicine Logistics Center".

Furthermore, to ensure patient medication safety, we have built the database of drug-herb interactions in the National Medical Cloud System of National Health Insurance Administration and have provided the information which can be searched by other hospitals in Taiwan.
